Do I really have to do a test patch?

How to patch test

Before using any hair removal product, patch test your skin by applying and removing the product to a small part of the area you wish to treat. Don’t forget to read the label and follow the directions for use! If after 24 hours there is no adverse reaction, you can continue to use the product normally.

Additional tips & tricks

• If you’re using Veet® wax strips or Veet® depilatory creams, we recommend exfoliating 24 hours prior to remove dead skin and built-up oils and help prevent ingrown hairs
• If you’re waxing for a special occasion and plan to show off your silky smooth skin, make sure to wax a day in advance to allow any redness to subside before the big event
• Naturally occurring oils or residue from moisturizers can impact the performance of Veet® products, so wash and dry the area you plan on treating before starting your hair removal
