Summer hair removal methods

There are a ton of options available for hair removal, some at home and many in salons. Which method you choose comes down to price, convenience, if you have sensitive skin or not, and how long you want to be fuzz-free for.

Waxing

Waxing is one of the most effective methods of hair removal because it’s easy, you can do it at home, and it’s long lasting. With waxing, hair is pulled from the hair follicle, and it can last for up to 28 days. How to wax at home:

1. Slowly pull strips apart using outward rounded tabs.cold wax

2. Hold tab. Hold skin taut. Pull the strip back onto itself (as fast as you can!) in one swift motion, as close to the skin as you pull.
3. After waxing, clean away any wax left on your skin with a Perfect Finish Wipe. Voila! Hairless.

Hair removal cream

Hair removal cream is a fast and easy way to remove hair. These products can start to work from 2 minutes** before it’s time to scrape off the hair.

How does hair removal cream work?

Hair removal cream, also known as a depilatory cream, removes hair on the surface of the skin at the strand level. The cream is applied to an area of the body and left to sit until the hair breaks down enough to become a jelly-consistency to wipe and wash off.

Shaving

The most common at home hair removal method: shaving. Using a disposable razor is a rite of passage for many of us.

To shave any unwanted hair, make sure the area of hair removal is damp, apply a foam or cream and glide the razor along to get rid of the hair. Shaving removes the hair strand rather than the hair follicle, so the hair will grow back much quicker than other methods.
